Even though I buy every book published about clematis, I realize that this practice is not for everyone. Ultimately, I was inspired by the Amazon.com practice of asking customers to rate items they have purchased. Among those items visitors to the website can offer an opinion about are the books that Amazon offers. I decided it would great to do the same thing on our website but with a slight twist. I determined that the most relevant way to do this would be to only post ratings submitted by American gardeners. After all, shouldn’t those who actually grow clematis be the ones to rate clematis books? So, here is a chance to let fellow ACS members know what you think about any clematis books currently being published. If I should happen to review it in our journal, The Clematis Chronicle, I will submit my appraisal on the website as well.
